Alloy and aluminium surface finishing

As our philosophy is to support our clients, Fondart is able to provide a complete finishing service of aluminum castings thanks to our departments of:

• Deburring: the first step of every surface treatment which remove ledges, dribbles or waste materials deriving from the fusion process;
• Belt or tunnel sand-blasting: used to remove the base and oily scraps from the casting. Sand-blasting is indispensable for preparing the article surface for painting;
• Tumbling: process which garantees the best surface finishing suitable for products with specific aesthetic requirements;
• Buffing: similar to tumbling, ideal for giving the piece a polished aspect and for avoiding the retention of dust;
